Safety

The Dog Patch is totally enclosed and set up for your exclusive use so your dogs can play freely.  We are fully insured, situated on a tranquil country road in Babell and easily reachable by footpath from Ysceifiog and Caerwys.

We endeavour to provide the best possible environment to reap the benefits a leashless dog park can provide.

Fun/Benefits

Dogs of any age and size need exercise and what's more, dogs love nothing more than to be let loose. With 1.5 acres of securely fenced, tranquil park with fun obstacles, an hour here is sure to satisfy and tire them out.

What's more there's no limit on dogs or visitors in an hour session. Why not bring friends - both two and four-legged - and make it a regular commitment to fun, exercise or training?

Not sure if The Dog Patch is for you?
We are planning to host open days as well as a Summer calendar we'll be trying to pack with obedience training, socialisation training, packwalking and fun events.

  • what are your opening hours?

    The Dog Patch is available throughout the year in daylight hours. Feel free to contact us using the  information below to check availability and book.

  • is your park safe to let dogs run?

    Of course! The park itself is located on a quiet country road, and is bounded by good hedges which are also double fenced. 

  • can I hire the park for an event?

    Yes! The Dog Patch is available for event hire throughout the year for group events, parties and training - whatever you want!

  • do you have somewhere to dispose of dog waste

    Not at present. Your dog's waste will have to be colllected by and disposed of by yourself.

  • can we hire the park as a group?

    Yes! In fact, group hires are encouraged. Check bookings for more details.

  • do you host training or activities?

    We are hoping to host different training and activities throughout the year. Like our Facebook page to be the first to hear about events. If you are a trainer who would like to use The Dog Patch as a venue - please contact us using the information below

  • my dog requires a muzzle. Is it needed here?

    If you are hiring the park personally - no. You are welcome to leave your dog unmuzzled. If you are attending as part of a group event, then please follow local regulations.
